MicroDrive: messages & reset reference
Identify a gate message and open its manufacturer troubleshooting section.
Start with the exact message
The MicroDrive manual distinguishes warnings, which allow continued operation, from errors that shut the barrier down. It assigns error correction and return to service to a MicroDrive service specialist. Record the code and the module reporting it before resetting.

Reset timing in the manufacturer guide
MicroDrive version 02.8, section 13.4: leave power off for at least 10 seconds before restoring it, or hold the two middle display buttons for 5 seconds. The manual specifically cautions against shorter power switching intervals.
White Water’s older gates/loops page describes a 2-second button hold. The manufacturer timing above applies to this MicroDrive edition. Keep the lane and arm movement area clear, capture the fault first, and have the technician match the procedure to the installed controller.
A gate that stays open
The manual’s troubleshooting tables distinguish an active opening command, a loop reporting occupied, a boom-contact event, startup release behavior, and mechanical balance. Reading the screen and loop indicators helps support choose the right branch.

Return to service
Keep a lane with unreliable safety detection closed until the fault is corrected and the gate’s operation is tested. Send the code, screen photo, lane, and observed behavior through White Water channels. Only White Water technicians contact NXT Wash Support: (856) 684-4313.
