LPR architecture and lane-mapping checks

Verify the camera, Rekor agent, local relay and intended lane middleware.

Trace the recognition path

The documented Rekor setup uses lane camera → Jetson running Rekor Scout → local ingest relay → lane middleware. Use the Jetson and Rekor setup guide for the service, agent and camera configuration.

  1. Identify the physical lane camera and its assigned address.
  2. Confirm its image and video stream are available to the intended Jetson.
  3. Check the saved camera name, lane assignment and detection mask in Scout.
  4. Confirm Scout sends to localhost:5000/rekor-ingest and the local ingest service is running.
  5. Verify the relay's assigned destination is the intended lane middleware.
  6. Check the expected recognition result in NXT Wash with the operator.

Keep camera and processing settings aligned

The documented Axis stream uses H.264 and a profile named nxtwash. Camera exposure and stream settings belong to the camera; display and detection-mask controls belong to Scout. See Axis P32 camera configuration for the applicable models and image controls.

Confirm the site's addressing

Use NXT Wash Admin to confirm current camera addresses and lane assignments before changing the installed setup.

Information to preserve

Record lane names, camera models, current addresses, Jetson and Rekor versions, service state, incident time and verification results in the site support record. A working camera image alone does not establish successful delivery to the lane.
