What it does

The card reader mounted in the customer-facing pay-station panel.

Connections and installation

The guide uses separate power and the bottom RJ45 LAN port. Lane credit card readers use DHCP. Confirm the current address in the site network records.

Normal idle screen

All credit card readers normally sit on the Welcome screen when idle, including the PAX IM30, A35 and A77.

A message such as “Transaction cancelled” does not, by itself, mean there is a problem with the reader. Distinguish the transaction message from an actual failure to accept payments.
