NXT Wash equipment connections
White Water’s tunnel connection and the power, Ethernet, USB and display connections used by NXT Wash equipment.
Use the matching hardware
This is a readable adaptation of Sheet 4, Equipment Port Guide, Rev A, October 2026. Its connector positions and power budgets describe the pictured equipment. Compare the physical model before applying them.
Computers and payment reader
| Device | Network connection | Other connections |
|---|---|---|
| Jetson recognition server | LAN to the primary switch | DC power; HDMI, USB and USB-C unused in the illustrated installation |
| POS middleware MW1 | LAN 2, farther from power, to core switch | DC power; display and USB ports unused |
| Pay-station middleware | LAN 2, farther from power, to lane switch | DC power; HDMI display; USB touch, barcode scanner, cash dispenser adapter and bill acceptor |
| PAX IM30 | Bottom RJ45 LAN to lane switch | Separate power connector; other depicted ports unused |
White Water swaps the kiosk screens during conversion. The replacement pay-station screen uses HDMI for its picture and USB A-to-B for touch. The USB A end is at the computer and B end at the screen. The ICS retrofit guide also allows a serial bill acceptor through a serial-to-USB adapter; the port sheet's USB acceptor illustration is not universal.
Switches and PoE
| Pictured switch | PoE ports | Total PoE budget | Role |
|---|---|---|---|
| White Water 24-port primary | Use the installed model’s PoE labels | Use the installed model’s rating | Tunnel TCP/IP on port 22 / VLAN 120; loader on port 20 |
| Pay-station 8-port switch | 1–4 PoE+; 5–8 data | 52 W | Lane camera, middleware, IM30, gate and RFID; uplink to building |
The Axis camera is shown with one Cat6 cable carrying power and data to a PoE+ lane-switch port. The RFID reader uses PoE. The IM30 has a separate power connection.
Tunnel connection
NXT Wash interfaces with the tunnel controller through TCP/IP on VLAN 120, assigned to port 22 of the 24-port primary switch. No additional interface wiring is required.
